Introduction:
Hey everyone, I’m Matt. I’m 5’10” tall, and I started my current bulking cycle at 69 kg (152 lbs). Despite some progress, I’ve struggled with excess fat around my lower abdomen and love handles. A bit of background: I used to weigh 127 kg (279 lbs) back in 2014, before undergoing weight loss surgery. As a result, I still have some excess skin, especially around my lower belly, which is something I’m working on. I’ve always had a lower resting heart rate and blood pressure, and even during cycles with higher doses of PEDs, my heart rate and blood pressure remain unchanged.
Previous PED Experience:
- 2017: 8-week cycle with Test E, EQ, and Tren E (last 4 weeks only).
- 2018: 8-week SARMs cycle (LGD-4033, Cardarine, and MK-2866).
Current Cycle (July 2023 – Present):
- Needle: 25g, 1.5 inches (injected in glutes and delts, rotating sites every 8 days).
- Weeks 1-6: Test E 250 mg/week and Tren E 100 mg/week (injected once a week).
- Weeks 6-10: Test E 800 mg/week, NPP 400 mg/week, and Tren E 400 mg/week (injected EOD).
- Weeks 6-8: Anadrol 50 mg daily (2 hours before the gym, occasionally skipped, typically 2x/week).
Cycle Remarks and Progress:
I started this cycle with a lower dose of Tren, as I had a good experience with it back in 2019—mainly for libido enhancement. One of my main concerns going into this cycle was improving my libido and addressing comments about my slender appearance, despite carrying some fat around my lower abdomen.
Weeks 1-6:
I initially injected Test E and Tren E only once a week, which worked well since both are long esters. What really stood out to me during these first six weeks was the consistent increase in libido, which was a huge improvement over what I had experienced before. My weight went up from 69 kg (152 lbs) to 78 kg (172 lbs) over this period. No major issues arose, and my overall energy and mood were good.
Weeks 6-10:
In week 6, I bumped up the dosage and introduced NPP (400 mg/week) and Anadrol (50 mg daily). I noticed that NPP had a significant impact on muscle fullness, particularly in my biceps and shoulders, which gave me the more defined look I was hoping for. Tren E, on the other hand, didn’t seem to provide the same volume or fullness as NPP, even though I had hoped it would. I also experienced some mild side effects from Anadrol—mainly acne and slight hair loss—so I discontinued it after 2 weeks.
Libido and Side Effects:
By the 10th week, I’ve noticed a slight dip in libido. While still functional, it’s not as strong as it was during the first few weeks of the cycle, when I had lower doses of Test and Tren. This could be due to the high doses of Test (800 mg) and Tren (200 mg), and I’m monitoring it closely. So far, there have been no major issues with blood pressure or heart rate, which have remained steady throughout the cycle.
Future Plans (Weeks 10-14):
I’m planning to continue this cycle for an additional 4 weeks with Test E, NPP, and Tren E at the current doses. The physical improvements are significant, but my lower abdomen and love handles are still a concern. After this phase, I plan to switch to a Test + Masteron combo for 4 weeks to help achieve a more defined, leaner look. Following that, I will transition to a cruising phase with 200 mg/week of Test E, plus either 100 mg of Masteron or Primo.
Diet:
- Morning: 25g Dymatize ISO Hydro Protein shake in milk with a banana.
- Post-Morning Shake: Oats and coffee (6-7g protein, mainly for carbs).
- Snacks:
- 6 slices of low-fat cheese (5g protein each, max 2 slices at a time).
- 15g protein banana pudding.
- Lunch: Varied meals, each with at least 20g protein.
- Afternoon Snack: 20g tuna and beans.
- Pre-Workout: 50g Dymatize ISO Hydro Protein shake, consumed slowly over 1.5 hours.
- Dinner: 20g protein or more.
- Before Bed: 25g Dymatize ISO Hydro Protein shake.
Training Routine:
- Frequency: 5 days per week.
- Timing: Post-work, around 3 PM.
- Duration: 1.5 hours per session.
- Focus: Two muscle groups per session.
- Reps: Generally 6-12 reps, pushing to failure on most sets.
- Sets: 3-4 sets per exercise with 60-90 seconds rest.
- Favorite Technique: Drop sets to push past failure.
