Welcome to my first-ever log!
Hey guys, I’m finally starting my first cutting cycle and thought it would be useful to log my progress here. This log is both for personal accountability and to hopefully provide some useful insights for anyone else considering a similar cycle.
Quick Stats:
- Age: Early 30s
- Weight: 88.4kg (195 lbs)
- Height: 186cm (6'1")
- Training Experience: Intermediate; ~6 years of natural strength training, though I’ve been off and on due to health issues following a bad motorbike accident.
- Cycle History: One previous cycle with Test E and Masteron (500mg each) which gave great results, likely helped by some muscle memory.
- Health/Recovery: In July 2021, I was hit by a 4WD that ran a stop sign, resulting in broken arms, a fractured C4 and C5 vertebrae, and torn ligaments in my knee. After a 3.5-year recovery, I’m back to training and have gained back some of my muscle. I went from 64kg (141 lbs) post-accident back to my current weight of 88.4kg.
Goals for This Cycle:
- Primary goal: Lose fat and retain as much lean muscle as possible, aiming to reach a weight of about 78-80kg (172-176 lbs).
- Focus areas: I’ll be paying extra attention to growing my shoulders and chest, which will be prioritized during future bulking phases.
Supplements (Currently):
- Chikin Feed:
- 40mg Telmisartan
- 500mg Metformin
- 50mg Aspirin
- 5mg Cialis
- 250mg TUDCA
- 400mg Alpha-GPC
- 600mg NAC
- Other Supplements:
- Vitamin C 1000mg daily
- General multivitamins
I've been clean from painkillers for a year now and only use the supplements above to support overall health.
Cycle Overview:
I’m running a 12-week cutting cycle with a combination of Test E, Primo, Anavar, Winstrol, and Clenbuterol. Here's how I've structured the cycle:
- Weeks 1-4:
- Test Enanthate 300mg/week (split into 2 injections: Monday & Friday)
- Primobolan Enanthate 500mg/week (split into 2 injections: Monday & Friday)
- Anavar 20mg/day (pre-workout)
- Clenbuterol 100mcg/day (supplied by Hybrid Labs)
- Weeks 5-9:
- Continue Test E (300mg/week)
- Continue Primobolan (500mg/week)
- Continue Anavar (20mg/day)
- Continue Clenbuterol (100mcg/day)
- Weeks 6-12 (Cutting Intensifies):
- Add Winstrol 20mg/day (R&D Pharma, starting Week 6)
- Increase Test E to 375mg/week (split doses)
- Winstrol will be added to further enhance fat loss during the later stages of the cutting phase. I’m open to adjusting the timing of adding Winstrol, as I’ve never used it before.
Training Program:
I’ve structured my workouts to fit my cutting phase, aiming for balanced muscle retention and fat loss. Here's the plan:
- Day 1: Shoulders, Traps, and Abs
- Day 2: Chest, Triceps, and Calves
- Day 3: Back and Biceps
- Day 4: Legs
- Rest Day: Active recovery, light cardio, or stretching
- Repeat
In addition to this, I have a very active job (16-23k steps a day), which should help with fat burning. I work afternoon shifts, typically from 1 pm to midnight, so I structure my meals and workouts around my schedule.
Diet:
- Caloric Intake: 2400 kcal/day (deficit for fat loss)
- Protein: Aiming for 200-250g of protein daily (roughly 2g per kg of bodyweight)
- Carbs/Fats: Not strictly tracked, but I eat clean, with carbs being the main source of calories, as I tend to stick with a low-fat diet.
- Meal Tracking: I’m using *Easy Diet Diary* (an Australian app) to track calories, though I tend to eyeball it since I’m highly active. I'll upload food photos and macros to stay accountable.
- Note: I can’t tolerate fish, so it’s not part of my diet.
Pre-Cycle Blood Work:
I’m getting my blood work done tomorrow (testosterone, liver function, etc.). I’ll update this log once I have those results.
- Background: Before my first cycle, my total testosterone was 8.6 ng/dL, which led me to explore TRT options and cycles. Anything above that initial reading would be a significant improvement for me.
This is my first time logging a cycle like this, so I’m open to any feedback or suggestions! I’ll continue posting updates on my progress and any changes I make along the way. Hopefully, this log can be helpful to others planning a similar cycle.
