Hey everyone!
Typically, my sex drive is on the lower side—I'm content with having sex once or twice a week when I'm off-cycle. However, when I'm on cycle, my libido drastically changes, and I feel like a completely different person. My testosterone levels seem to boost my sex drive to the point where I'm interested in sex multiple times a day: once before work, once after work, and again before bed.
I really feel for my wife, though. While she’s usually open to being intimate a few times a week, my heightened desire doesn’t always match up with her pace. She does her best to meet me halfway, but I’m always mindful not to pressure her, and I never try to make her feel bad if she’s not in the mood. When she declines, I genuinely don’t feel disappointed—I just feel guilty about my increased drive.
Does anyone else experience a similar shift in libido while on cycle? How do you manage the differences in desire without making your partner feel overwhelmed?
