My Experience with Creatine and Insulin Management (for Experienced Users Only)

I want to start by making it clear that this is not a protocol I recommend for anyone unless you're experienced with insulin. I'm an insulin-dependent diabetic, so I have a lot of experience managing insulin and manipulating dosages.

For years, I didn’t think I was much of a creatine responder. However, looking back, I wasn’t consistent with it, and I decided to give it another try, especially since it’s relatively inexpensive. I bought some cheap creatine HCL from Walmart, and here's the interesting part: I started dosing it throughout the day at 750mg per dose . (I should note, HCL is dosed differently than regular creatine monohydrate, so one tiny teaspoon of this stuff is about 750mg).

I broke my daily intake into 3 servings , taking a dose with each main meal, and I tried timing my insulin injections around my creatine doses. The results? Honestly, I’m shocked. Over the course of just one month, I’ve put on about 15 lbs and I’ve stayed lean. I’ve been sticking to my regular TRT dose throughout this time, doing pump-style workouts with lighter weights and short rest intervals. The feedback I’m getting has been overwhelming—people are commenting on my physique multiple times a day. My muscles look fuller, more rounded, and I’m consistently getting that "pumped" feeling.

So, after a month of consistent creatine intake combined with careful insulin management, I can confidently say it’s working for me. I’m not suggesting this is a magic solution, but for those of you experienced with insulin and supplementation, it might be worth experimenting with.

Has anyone else tried similar protocols or had good results with creatine in combination with insulin? Feel free to share your experiences or any insights!
