Hello everyone,
I’m 42 years old, weigh 195lbs, and have an estimated body fat of around 15%. I’ve been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for about 15 months now and recently adjusted my TRT dose to 100mg of Testosterone Cypionate and 1mg of Anastrozole per week. I had blood work done yesterday to get baseline levels before I start my new cycle, and I'll update everyone on the results soon.
A little background: I’ve suspected for years that I had low testosterone, which probably contributed to the difficulty I had gaining muscle despite regular lifting. It wasn’t until later in life that I got my levels tested. After working with my doctor to dial in my TRT, I feel like I’m in a much better spot, but I’m now ready to take it a step further with my first real cycle.
My goals for this cycle are to gain lean muscle while avoiding drastic size increases (I’m not looking to blow up overnight and have people asking questions). My approach is going to be gradual and focused on steady, clean progress. I’m also cautious about side effects—especially since I’ve dealt with gynecomastia in the past—and I plan to do a “blast and cruise” type of cycle to stay within safer limits and avoid injury.
I also want to keep this process as safe and manageable as possible, which is why I’ve opted for a relatively conservative approach for my first cycle. Below is my plan, and I’m open to any feedback or suggestions from the community!
Cycle Plan (12 Weeks):
- Testosterone Cypionate: 250mg per week
- Boldenone Undecylenate (Equipoise): 500mg per week
- Turinabol: 20–40mg per day for 6–7 weeks (pending delivery)
- Anastrozole: 1mg per week (or as needed, depending on estrogen levels)
Gear:
- Test Cypionate 250 (Geneza Pharma)
- Boldenone 300 (Geneza Pharma)
- Turinabol 20 (Para Pharma) - On the way
- Arimidex 1mg (Para Pharma) - On the way
- Proviron 25 (Para Pharma) - On the way
- Anadrol 50 (Para Pharma) - On the way (just for future cycles)
I’m taking a conservative approach with the Turinabol to minimize sides and will run it for no longer than 7 weeks since I only have 100 pills. I’ll start it as soon as it arrives. I’m also considering adding in Proviron and Anadrol later down the line, but I’m keeping those for future cycles or in case I need to adjust my plan.
Injection Schedule:
- Monday: 250mg Boldenone (EQ)
- Thursday: 250mg EQ + 250mg Test Cypionate
I’m splitting the doses into two weekly injections to keep the blood levels more stable and make the most of the compounds.
Training Plan:
I follow a 6-day Push/Pull/Legs (PPL) split. Sometimes, I take an extra day off depending on how my body feels, but I always pick up where I left off. I’ve been focusing on proper form, lowering reps, and increasing the weight. Lately, I’ve also been experimenting with slow and controlled movements, as I feel this approach has been giving me solid results.
Diet:
This is where I’m really struggling. Nutrition has never been my strong suit, and I know I have a tendency to overindulge in junk food. I’m working on improving my diet by sticking to healthier, cleaner options, but it’s been a challenge. I’m aware that a good diet is essential for getting the most out of this cycle, so if anyone has tips or suggestions for someone who’s not great with meal planning, I’m all ears!
Final Thoughts:
Thanks to everyone who has been so welcoming and supportive on this forum. I’m excited to document my progress here and learn from all of you along the way. I know this post might be a bit rough, but I’m open to any advice or feedback as I start my cycle. I’ll be starting this cycle today!
