Do Short Cycles of Steroids or GH Actually Leave Lasting Changes?

If you only had about half a year to try something, what do you think would actually stick with you for good?
I always thought that with steroids, the only things that last forever are some of the side effects. Like, if you lose hair, it’s probably not coming back, right?
And what about growth hormone? If you use it for a few months, could it actually make any permanent improvements?
Just wondering, no judgment here.

I think steroids mostly mess with your body temporarily, but yeah, hair loss is pretty much permanent. Never had luck reversing that.

Growth hormone might help your body produce more collagen, so skin and joints could improve in the long run. But muscle? Probably not permanent.

Funny you asked — I ran steroids for 3 months, lost some hair, and it’s never come back. On the bright side, my strength gains lasted a long time because I kept training hard.

Collagen boost sounds promising. Maybe that’s why some older folks use GH to look younger. Not sure if it’s worth the cost though.

I don’t think any steroid effects are truly permanent besides side effects. Hormones balance back eventually. But yeah, hair loss and maybe some joint damage could stay.
