Back at It: Test + Masteron Lean Cycle Log (July–Oct 2025)

Hey everyone,

Back again with a new cycle log—after finishing my previous 12-week run earlier this year, I took some time off to recover, reflect, and reassess my goals. The results were solid: decent strength gains, visible improvements in size, and I managed to keep fat gain in check. That said, I realized I need to refine my approach to maximize muscle hypertrophy without pushing the Tren sides too far. So, here we go again—same mindset, improved plan.

About Me (Updated):

  • Age: 38
  • Height: 170 cm / 5'6"
  • Current Weight: 67.1 kg
  • Body Fat: 17.4%
  • Muscle Mass: 78.2%
  • Water: 56.3%
I dropped a bit of weight post-cycle (as expected), but held onto most of the lean mass. Been focusing on recovery, mobility work, and fine-tuning my diet these past few months. Now that my baseline is reset, I’m ready to start a new, lean-focused growth phase—this time experimenting with a different compound.


Why This Log / What’s New:
My main reason for starting a new log is to document this second cycle after a long hiatus, and also because I’m switching from Tren to Masteron this time. I’m looking for that dry, hard look while still adding quality mass. I also want to track how I feel mentally and physically without the typical Tren-related sides.


New Cycle Plan (July 23 – mid October):

  • Week 1–10:
    • Test E – 400 mg/week
    • Masteron E – 300 mg/week
    • Aromasin – 12.5 mg EOD (adjust based on bloods/feel)

Goals:

  • Add 3–4 kg of lean mass
  • Improve vascularity and muscle definition
  • Avoid water retention and hormonal swings
  • Improve gym performance (esp. pushing lifts back to peak levels)

Training Plan:

  • 5-day split: Push / Pull / Legs / Upper / Lower
  • High volume with progressive overload
  • Cardio 2–3x/week (LISS, 30–40 min fasted in the morning)

Diet:

  • Calories: ~3000/day
  • Protein: 2.2g per kg BW
  • Carbs: Moderate to high (cycling based on training intensity)
  • Fats: Clean sources only, moderate (avocados, olive oil, fish oil)

Current Status (Week 1):


  • Strength: Holding steady, slight drop in endurance but nothing major
  • Physique: Leaner than at the start of the last cycle
  • Mood: Clear-headed, more stable already compared to week 1 on Tren
  • Sleep: Better than expected—hoping Masteron keeps things stable
  • Libido: Normal to high


Questions for the Forum:


  1. Anyone have experience comparing Test+Mast vs. Test+Tren for clean gains?
  2. What’s the optimal AI protocol for a 400/300 Test/Mast split? Want to avoid crashing E2.
  3. Thoughts on including Anavar or Winstrol later in the cycle (weeks 7–10) for more definition?
