Hello everyone,
I'm starting a log to track my cycle and share my progress along the way. I’m 59 years old, and I’ve been training consistently for many years. As I get older, I’ve had to adjust my approach to both my training and nutrition to continue making progress. This year, I’m focusing on cutting water retention, maintaining a steady weight, and targeting specific areas for growth, like my upper chest and legs. Here’s the breakdown of my current cycle and goals:
Personal Stats:
- Age: 59
- Height: 5’9”
- Weight: 182-190 lbs
- Training Schedule: 3x a week (MWF), 1 hour per session
Current Stack (per week):
- Test 300 mg
- Masteron (Mast) 300 mg
- Trenbolone (Tren) 300 mg
*Divided into three injections throughout the week*
I also use 50 mg of Tbol on workout days because I really enjoy the way it enhances my energy and performance during training.
Additional Supplements:
- Creatine: Taken daily with plenty of water
- Protein Goal: 150 grams per day
Short-Term Goal (Immediate Focus):
- Reduce water bloat and maintain weight below 185 lbs for an upcoming PS Leather Week
- Focus on cutting fat while preserving muscle mass
Long-Term Goal (End of Year):
- Maintain weight in the low 180s (ideally around 180 lbs)
- Increase muscle size in my upper chest and legs
- Improve overall stamina and cardiovascular fitness
I’ll be updating this log regularly with progress, workout notes, and any changes to the stack or training regimen.
How do you manage water retention on cycles like this? Any tips for improving stamina or dealing with the challenges of training in your 50s?
