I’m excited to kick off my 20-week steroid cycle, and I wanted to share my approach and goals with you all. This is a personal experiment, and I'm keen to document my progress and see how these compounds affect my physique and performance over time. I’d love to hear your feedback and experiences, so feel free to share any advice or insights you may have!

About Me:
- Age: Early 30s
- Weight: 80kg (176 lbs)
- Height: 182cm (6'0")
- Training Experience: Intermediate—approximately 12 years of natural strength training, though I've had to adjust based on my health at various points.
- Cycle History: I started doctor-prescribed TRT 4 years ago due to primary hypogonadism. My highest previous cycle was 350mg Test E and 40mg Anavar, and I also ran a 6-week TRT cruise at 250mg Test E and 200mg Mast E earlier this year. Most of my TRT has been at 250mg Test E per week, based on my prescription limits.
- Health & Injury: I suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) in my teens, resulting in paraplegia from the waist down. I manage sleep apnea with a CPAP machine and consistently get 6-8 hours of sleep per night. My overall health is very good, and I regularly monitor my bloodwork and organ health—heart, liver, and kidneys are all functioning well. Here's an X-ray of the metal implants in my spine (which always sets off the airport scanner!).

My Goals:
- Lean out further while gaining quality muscle, particularly in my upper body. I'm hoping for an increase of around 3-5kg of lean mass, which would make a noticeable difference in my physique, especially in my biceps and shoulders.

Daily Supplementation:
- Telmisartan: 60mg (helps control my blood pressure, typically around 125/80)
- Cialis: 5mg (for general health and performance)
- Multivitamin: Thorne Basic Nutrients
- NAC: 1g
- TUDCA: 250mg
- Ubiquinol: 150mg (for cardiovascular health)
- Fish Oil: 4g
- Taurine: 1g
- Vitamin D3: 4000 IU
- Magnesium Bisglycinate: 600mg nightly
- Melatonin: 3-5mg nightly (for improved sleep)

Cycle Breakdown:

# Week 1-4: Foundation Phase
- Testosterone Enanthate: 525mg weekly (split into 0.3ml daily injections)
- Primobolan Enanthate: 420mg weekly (split into 0.3ml daily injections)
- Anavar: 20mg pre-workout (taken sublingually)
- HGH: 3-5 IU nightly

The first 4 weeks will be all about building a solid foundation. I’ll monitor my estradiol levels and adjust the Primobolan dosage if needed, based on bloodwork. I’ll also check my IGF-1 levels to assess my response to HGH and different dosages.

# Week 5-14: Introducing NPP
- Continue with the same dosages of Test E, Primo, Anavar, and HGH.
- NPP (Nandrolone Phenylpropionate): 105mg weekly (split into 0.15ml daily injections)

I’ll introduce NPP at Week 5 to aid muscle growth, support joint health, and enhance recovery. NPP is fast-acting, and I’m curious to see how it impacts my physique, especially since it’s my first time using a 19-nor compound.

# Week 15-20: Adding Trenbolone for the Final Push
- Continue with the same dosages of Test E, Primo, Anavar, and HGH.
- Trenbolone Acetate: Starting at 10mg per day, increasing based on tolerance.
- Anavar: Increased to 40mg pre-workout, sublingually.

For the final phase of the cycle, I’ll swap NPP for Trenbolone Acetate. I’m going to start with a low dose to gauge my tolerance and gradually increase if I respond well. I’m experimenting with Tren purely out of curiosity and will monitor all health markers closely. If the side effects become too much, I’m open to switching back to NPP. I'll also double my Anavar dosage to 40mg pre-workout to maximize strength during this final push.

Training Routine (Upper Body Focus):
Since I’m paralyzed from the mid-abdomen down, my training focuses on upper body development. After years of training, I’ve fine-tuned my exercise selection and rep ranges to get the best results. Here’s my structure:

Block 1 (Weeks 1-5):
- Daily Morning Fasted Cardio: 20 minutes
- Day 1: Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders
- Day 2: Back, Chest, Forearms
- Day 3: Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders
- Rest Day

I’m focusing on arms and shoulders in Block 1, while later blocks will shift focus towards chest and back specialization as the cycle progresses.

Diet:
Due to my SCI, my metabolic rate is lower, so my calorie requirements are different from those of non-paralyzed individuals. I aim for ~30 calories per kg of body weight for maintenance, which comes out to around 2400 calories on the upper end. I focus on hitting 175-200g of protein daily but don’t strictly track calories yet—just eyeballing them. My diet is generally low in fat, with carbs filling the rest of my daily caloric intake. This cycle, I’ve also added a post-workout shake to aid recovery. I’d appreciate any feedback on my diet or training strategy!

I’d love to hear from others who have experience with similar compounds or cycles. If you have any tips, suggestions, or even challenges to share, please drop a comment below!

Cycle Log – June 4: Week 14 Recap – Transitioning to the Final Phase

It’s been 14 weeks since I began this cycle back in late February, and I’m now entering the final 6-week phase. Overall, the structure has worked well — my health has remained stable, strength is up, and body composition has continued to improve. As planned, I’ll now transition from NPP to Trenbolone Acetate and increase Anavar to finish strong.

Here’s a detailed update on how things have gone so far and what’s coming next.

Progress to Date (Weeks 1–14)

  • Starting Weight: 80 kg
  • Current Weight (fasted): 84.6 kg
  • Lean Mass Gain Estimate: ~3.5–4 kg
  • Visual Changes: Improved vascularity and roundness in shoulders, arms, and chest. Delts, biceps, and triceps all visibly fuller. Skin slightly thinner, likely due to HGH + Anavar synergy.
  • Strength: Notable progress in overhead pressing and chest work (machine incline press up +20% in top sets).
  • Fat Gain: Minimal. Abs are still faintly visible under morning lighting; small increase in water retention but no visible bloat.

Health & Side Effect Profile

  • Blood Pressure: Averaging 122–126 / 76–80 (monitored daily, Telmisartan 60mg helping maintain stability)
  • Blood Glucose: Controlled; using glucometer 3x/week — fasted glucose ~90 mg/dL
  • No prolactin-related issues from NPP (ran Cabergoline 0.25mg 1x/week as precaution, no elevation detected)
  • Lipids: HDL has dropped slightly per mid-cycle labs (Week 8), but LDL and total cholesterol are in check.
  • Liver Enzymes: Slightly elevated ALT/AST, likely due to Anavar, but well within manageable range.

PED Protocol Recap – Weeks 1 to 14

  • Testosterone Enanthate: 525 mg/week (daily microdosing)
  • Primobolan Enanthate: 420 mg/week (daily microdosing)
  • Anavar: 20 mg pre-workout, sublingual (Weeks 1–14)
  • HGH: 4 IU nightly (split into 2 IU AM + 2 IU PM for the last 4 weeks)
  • NPP: 105 mg/week (added Week 5, discontinued after Week 14)

NPP was very well tolerated. Recovery improved, and joints felt noticeably better. No libido or mood disruptions. If anything, I may reintroduce a low dose in future off-season cycles.

Training Update

Training structure remained upper-body focused, with alternating blocks of emphasis:

  • Block 1 (Weeks 1–5): Arms and shoulders
  • Block 2 (Weeks 6–10): Chest and back volume work
  • Block 3 (Weeks 11–14): Combined intensity — progressive overload + pump work, aiming to push performance metrics (e.g., rep PRs, time under tension)

Current split remains 3-on, 1-off, with 20–25 min fasted cardio daily. Recovery is solid, largely due to sleep hygiene, blood pressure control, and nutrient timing.

Nutrition Strategy

Still not tracking every calorie, but protein intake has been consistent at 190–210g/day. I’ve increased carb intake post-workout and reduced dietary fat slightly to control digestion and systemic inflammation.

Post-Workout Shake:

  • 40g whey isolate
  • 60g cream of rice
  • 1 banana
  • 5g creatine
  • 10g collagen
  • Pink salt

Calories average around 2,600–2,800 per day depending on training volume. Because of my SCI, I keep a close eye on bloating and water shifts — keeping fiber moderate and sodium/potassium in balance helps.

Weeks 15–20: Final Push

As outlined in the original plan, the final six weeks will include a shift in compounds and strategy:

Compound Changes:

  • Trenbolone Acetate: Starting at 10 mg/day (split AM/PM), titrating up only if side effects are minimal
  • Anavar: Increased to 40 mg pre-workout (still sublingual)
  • Test E + Primo + HGH remain unchanged

This is my first run with Tren Ace, and I’m approaching it cautiously. I’m looking to assess its impact on body composition, fullness, and strength at the lowest effective dose. If sleep, blood pressure, or mental clarity suffer, I’ll scale it back or remove it entirely.

Immediate Goals (Weeks 15–17)

  • Add 1–2 kg lean mass without significant water or fat gain
  • Increase pump and vascularity heading into the final 4 weeks
  • Maintain stable blood pressure and sleep quality while introducing Tren

Final Notes

So far, this has been the most structured and well-tolerated cycle I’ve run. I’m staying within my health parameters and making adjustments based on both feel and data. Looking forward to seeing how this final phase plays out.

I’ll share updated labs and photos near the end of Week 17, and I welcome any insights from those who’ve used low-dose Tren or increased Anavar late-cycle.

Thanks to everyone who’s been following along — your feedback and questions are always appreciated.

Solid work, man. Primo + low-dose NPP is an underrated combo — glad to see it worked for you. Curious how you’ll respond to Tren at that dose. Keep us posted if sleep or anxiety creeps in.

That’s a great example of how to run a moderate, health-focused cycle with clear goals. Respect for the structure and blood pressure control. What’s your take on running Primo alongside Tren? Overkill or synergy?
