I’m excited to kick off my 20-week steroid cycle, and I wanted to share my approach and goals with you all. This is a personal experiment, and I'm keen to document my progress and see how these compounds affect my physique and performance over time. I’d love to hear your feedback and experiences, so feel free to share any advice or insights you may have!
About Me:
- Age: Early 30s
- Weight: 80kg (176 lbs)
- Height: 182cm (6'0")
- Training Experience: Intermediate—approximately 12 years of natural strength training, though I've had to adjust based on my health at various points.
- Cycle History: I started doctor-prescribed TRT 4 years ago due to primary hypogonadism. My highest previous cycle was 350mg Test E and 40mg Anavar, and I also ran a 6-week TRT cruise at 250mg Test E and 200mg Mast E earlier this year. Most of my TRT has been at 250mg Test E per week, based on my prescription limits.
- Health & Injury: I suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) in my teens, resulting in paraplegia from the waist down. I manage sleep apnea with a CPAP machine and consistently get 6-8 hours of sleep per night. My overall health is very good, and I regularly monitor my bloodwork and organ health—heart, liver, and kidneys are all functioning well. Here's an X-ray of the metal implants in my spine (which always sets off the airport scanner!).
My Goals:
- Lean out further while gaining quality muscle, particularly in my upper body. I'm hoping for an increase of around 3-5kg of lean mass, which would make a noticeable difference in my physique, especially in my biceps and shoulders.
Daily Supplementation:
- Telmisartan: 60mg (helps control my blood pressure, typically around 125/80)
- Cialis: 5mg (for general health and performance)
- Multivitamin: Thorne Basic Nutrients
- NAC: 1g
- TUDCA: 250mg
- Ubiquinol: 150mg (for cardiovascular health)
- Fish Oil: 4g
- Taurine: 1g
- Vitamin D3: 4000 IU
- Magnesium Bisglycinate: 600mg nightly
- Melatonin: 3-5mg nightly (for improved sleep)
Cycle Breakdown:
# Week 1-4: Foundation Phase
- Testosterone Enanthate: 525mg weekly (split into 0.3ml daily injections)
- Primobolan Enanthate: 420mg weekly (split into 0.3ml daily injections)
- Anavar: 20mg pre-workout (taken sublingually)
- HGH: 3-5 IU nightly
The first 4 weeks will be all about building a solid foundation. I’ll monitor my estradiol levels and adjust the Primobolan dosage if needed, based on bloodwork. I’ll also check my IGF-1 levels to assess my response to HGH and different dosages.
# Week 5-14: Introducing NPP
- Continue with the same dosages of Test E, Primo, Anavar, and HGH.
- NPP (Nandrolone Phenylpropionate): 105mg weekly (split into 0.15ml daily injections)
I’ll introduce NPP at Week 5 to aid muscle growth, support joint health, and enhance recovery. NPP is fast-acting, and I’m curious to see how it impacts my physique, especially since it’s my first time using a 19-nor compound.
# Week 15-20: Adding Trenbolone for the Final Push
- Continue with the same dosages of Test E, Primo, Anavar, and HGH.
- Trenbolone Acetate: Starting at 10mg per day, increasing based on tolerance.
- Anavar: Increased to 40mg pre-workout, sublingually.
For the final phase of the cycle, I’ll swap NPP for Trenbolone Acetate. I’m going to start with a low dose to gauge my tolerance and gradually increase if I respond well. I’m experimenting with Tren purely out of curiosity and will monitor all health markers closely. If the side effects become too much, I’m open to switching back to NPP. I'll also double my Anavar dosage to 40mg pre-workout to maximize strength during this final push.
Training Routine (Upper Body Focus):
Since I’m paralyzed from the mid-abdomen down, my training focuses on upper body development. After years of training, I’ve fine-tuned my exercise selection and rep ranges to get the best results. Here’s my structure:
Block 1 (Weeks 1-5):
- Daily Morning Fasted Cardio: 20 minutes
- Day 1: Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders
- Day 2: Back, Chest, Forearms
- Day 3: Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders
- Rest Day
I’m focusing on arms and shoulders in Block 1, while later blocks will shift focus towards chest and back specialization as the cycle progresses.
Diet:
Due to my SCI, my metabolic rate is lower, so my calorie requirements are different from those of non-paralyzed individuals. I aim for ~30 calories per kg of body weight for maintenance, which comes out to around 2400 calories on the upper end. I focus on hitting 175-200g of protein daily but don’t strictly track calories yet—just eyeballing them. My diet is generally low in fat, with carbs filling the rest of my daily caloric intake. This cycle, I’ve also added a post-workout shake to aid recovery. I’d appreciate any feedback on my diet or training strategy!
I’d love to hear from others who have experience with similar compounds or cycles. If you have any tips, suggestions, or even challenges to share, please drop a comment below!
