I’m relatively new to this thread and wanted to share my journey with a Primobolan and Testosterone TRT cycle. I’ve been weight training on and off for quite a few years, and at my best, I was around 13% body fat at 176 lbs in my early 20s. Since then, my training has had its ups and downs, and I’ve had some setbacks along the way.
Background:
- Injury History: In February 2023, I tore my ACL, MCL, LCL, and meniscus in my left knee, which caused a significant setback in both training and weight management. I gained around 20 lbs post-injury, and my recovery surgery in July 2022 kept me out of training for a while. Since then, I’ve been getting back into the swing of things, though I’m still dealing with some lingering effects of the injury.
- Gyno History: I’ve had gyno since my teenage years, but it seems to get less noticeable as I lower my body fat percentage.
Currently, I’m on 200 mg/week of Testosterone Cypionate through my TRT clinic, and I’m preparing for a 12-week Primobolan cycle (300–400 mg/week) with 250–300 mg/week of Test Cyp, aiming to lean out and make some solid progress.
Previous Cycle:
- 8-week Anavar cycle with 200 mg Test Cyp/week. It was effective for strength and endurance but didn’t have the muscle-building effect I was hoping for.
- MK677: I tried MK677, but it caused a lot of water retention, and I gained 10 lbs that didn’t feel like muscle. I decided to stop it for now.
Current Supplementation:
I keep my supplement routine fairly straightforward:
- Creatine: 5 g/day
- Pre-workout: Only on lifting days
- B-Complex (Kirkland brand)
- Vitamin C: 2,000 mg/day
- Vitamin D: 10,000 IU/day
- Vitamin E: 400 IU/day
- Vitamin K2: 100 mg/day
- DIM: 200 mg/day
- Zinc: 50 mg/day
- Magnesium Biglycinate: 200 mg/day
- Iron: 28 mg/day (recommended by my doctor due to low ferritin levels from a recent blood test)
- Fish Oil: Daily
- Berberine: 500 mg/day (for blood pressure, which is around 138/78)
- Ashwagandha: 1/8 to 1/4 tsp/day (for stress support)
- Veggie Greens Supplement: Daily
Diet:
I try to keep things simple and straightforward:
- Fasting: I usually fast 16–18 hours on Saturdays.
- Meals: I eat 3 times a day, focusing on 30–40 grams of protein per meal, from sources like chicken, turkey, beef, and cottage cheese. I supplement with protein shakes as needed. I aim to include a small amount of carbs and veggies in each meal, along with a few servings of fruit.
I plan to update this log regularly to track my progress and document how my body responds to the cycle. I’m particularly interested in seeing how the combination of Primobolan and Test Cyp helps with fat loss while maintaining muscle mass.
Goals:
- Lean out and reduce my body fat percentage.
- Maintain muscle mass during the cycle, aiming for a more defined physique.
- Push past the plateau I’ve been at due to my knee injury and get stronger again.
Questions & Requests for Advice:
- Has anyone had any experience with Primobolan in combination with Test Cyp for fat loss? Any tips or advice on how I can make the most of this stack?
- I’d love to hear from anyone who has used MK677—what was your experience with the water retention, and did you find it to be worth it in the long run?
