Hey everyone, I’ve been lurking here for a while, so I figured it’s time to start a proper log to track my progress and get some input from the community. Any feedback or advice is appreciated!

Current TRT and Cycle Overview:

- Current TRT: I’ve been cruising at 200 mg of Test C per week for the past 14 weeks, injecting 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
- Aromasin: 12.5 mg twice a week to manage estrogen.
- Training: I hit the gym 3 times a week for weights and cardio. For example, today was shoulders and back:
- Seated Shoulder Press: 245x6, 245x4 with rest-pauses and a drop set
- Reverse Pull-ups: Bodyweight + 50 lbs for 8 reps, then 7 reps with rest pauses and a drop set
- Bent Barbell Rows: 275x8, 275x6 with rest-pauses and a drop set
- Shrugs: 405x6, 405x4 with rest-pauses and a drop set
- Single-Arm Side Raises: 45 lbs x10, 8 with a drop set
- 30 minutes of cardio, burned around 450 calories.

Diet:
I focus on clean, whole foods and ensure I'm getting enough protein and carbs to support my training. Here's a breakdown of my meals:
- Pre-workout snack: A banana, 6000mg of citrulline, and 50mg of dbol (I plan to drop the dbol soon).
- Breakfast: 12 egg whites, 2 carb-smart wraps, and 1 cup of oatmeal.
- Meals 2-4: 8 oz chicken, ½ cup rice, ½ cup black beans, and 1 cup of broccoli or cauliflower.
- Meal 5 (dinner): 8 oz of top round beef and 1 cup of spinach.
- I alternate between steak and fish four times a week, adjusting my carbs based on my daily activity.

Planned Cycle:
I’m gearing up for a new cycle, planning to run:
- 375 mg of Test C per week
- 300 mg of DHB per week
- 12.5 mg of Aromasin per week
- Liver guard supplement for liver health.

The cycle will be for 14 weeks, followed by a 16-week cruise at a TRT dose. After that, I’ll reassess my goals.

Goals & Strategy:
- I’m currently 200 lbs at around 14% body fat (maybe a little lower). My goal is to drop down to 190 lbs (a recomp) and lean out before going further with more advanced compounds.
- Long-term, I’m not looking to chase massive lifts like a 600 lb bench or 750 lb deadlift. Instead, my focus is aesthetics and maintaining a balanced physique.
- I plan to eventually incorporate more advanced cycles (e.g., 2 IU of HGH per day, Metformin 500 mg twice daily, 50 mcg of T3, 600 mg of Test, etc.), but that’s down the road.

I’d love to hear from others who’ve been in a similar position. Specifically, I’m open to:
- Diet tips for those who are trying to lean out while keeping muscle mass
- Cycle advice: Would you recommend anything different for my goals (e.g., adding any specific compounds or adjusting dosages)?
- Training tips: Any advice on training while managing long-term TRT or planning for a recomp phase?

Thanks in advance, and I’m looking forward to hearing from all of you with experience.

Great log, man. I’m on TRT too and it’s been a game-changer for my training. Here’s a few things I’ve learned along the way:

1. TRT + Performance Enhancers: I totally get your hesitation about running higher doses of testosterone. I’ve had the same issue with aggression. If you find the aggression becoming a problem, you could consider running a low dose of something like Primo alongside it. It’s pretty mild but will give you that lean quality you’re after without as much aggression as test-only cycles. Also, it might help keep your blood pressure lower since Test alone can sometimes increase it.

2. Recomping: I’ve been in your shoes, trying to recomp and get leaner while still building muscle. I’ve had success by increasing my cardio intensity (I went with 2-3 days of HIIT) while adjusting my diet to have slightly higher protein and fat, but keeping carbs low on rest days. I suggest you experiment with your carbs based on your energy levels and training—don’t be afraid to tweak it if you feel sluggish or if you're gaining too much fat.

3. Supplements: I see you’re running a solid supplement stack. If you’re considering more advanced compounds later (HGH, T3, etc.), just make sure to keep your bloodwork up-to-date. The long-term health impacts are often overlooked in this game, but I’ve found that being proactive with blood panels and adjusting dosages as needed makes all the difference.

Let me know if you have any questions about cycle timing or stacking compounds—I’ve run similar cycles before. Good luck, man, keep us updated!

Wow! Thanks for such a long and informative comment and advise.

Update – April 17

Hey everyone, back with an update! It’s been a solid stretch since my last log back in February, and I’ve made a few tweaks both in training and on cycle. Still very much locked in on the recomp goal — bodyweight has dropped slightly, strength is holding, and overall I feel more dialed in. Appreciate all the feedback from the community so far — it’s helped a ton.

Current Cycle Protocol (Week 7 of 14):

  • Test Cypionate: 375 mg/week, pinning Monday/Thursday
  • DHB (1-Test Cyp): 300 mg/week, split with the Test
  • Aromasin: 12.5 mg E3D
  • Liver Support: TUDCA + NAC daily
  • Pre-cycle labs vs. current labs: Estrogen is under control, ALT/AST holding steady, and RBC is up a bit but still within range. Hematocrit creeping up, so I’ll donate next week.

DHB is a new compound for me, and I’m honestly impressed. Strength has gone up, endurance in the gym feels solid, and there’s a dry, dense look that’s starting to show — especially in the delts and traps. No noticeable PIP, which I was a little worried about. Appetite has been strong, sleep a bit lighter but manageable.

Training: 4-day split (Push/Pull/Legs/Accessory & Conditioning)

Today's session (Pull Day):

  • Deadlifts (conventional): 455x5, 475x3, 495x2
  • Weighted Pull-ups: BW + 55 lbs x 6, 6, drop set to bodyweight for 8
  • Meadows Rows: 3 plates x 10, 10, drop set to 2 plates
  • Barbell Curls (strict): 95x10, 105x8, drop set
  • Face Pulls: 3x15 for rear delt activation
  • 30 min incline treadmill, HR around 135 bpm

Overall, energy is high, and the logbook is slowly moving forward on everything. Added in some extra volume on arms lately to bring them up — DHB has been helping them pop more.

Current Body Stats:

  • Weight: 194.6 lbs (down from 200 in Feb)
  • Body Fat: Est. 11–12% (vascularity improving, waist down slightly)
  • Waist: 32.0”
  • Strength: Holding or slightly improving despite the cut — which is exactly where I want to be right now

Nutrition:

Dialed in even more on meal timing and digestion. Still keeping carbs relatively high around training, fats lower early in the day. Here’s a typical day:
  • Pre-workout: 1 banana, 10g EAAs, 6000mg citrulline, 200mg caffeine
  • Post-workout: Whey isolate shake with 60g carbs from cream of rice
  • Meal 1: 8 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1 cup oats
  • Meals 2–4: 8 oz chicken or lean beef, ½ cup jasmine rice, 1 cup mixed greens, 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Meal 5 (dinner): 6 oz salmon or steak, sweet potato, asparagus
  • Last meal: 1 scoop casein, 1 tbsp peanut butter

Swapped out the dbol entirely — it did its job kickstarting, but I prefer the look and feel of the current combo without the bloat.

Looking Ahead:

  • 7 more weeks on cycle — keeping close track of biofeedback
  • Bloodwork mid-cycle came back clean, but I’ll do another set at week 12 just to confirm everything before I cruise
  • May start incorporating Metformin low-dose (250 mg twice daily) in the next few weeks if blood glucose creeps
  • HGH is still on the horizon, might pull the trigger during next cruise phase

Questions for the community:

  • Anyone run DHB longer than 14 weeks? Curious about long-term observations
  • Tips for bringing up arms on a cut — any frequency bump tactics that helped you retain fullness? Thanks again to everyone following along. Always open to feedback or suggestions — especially if you’ve had success recomping with similar compounds. More updates soon!

Solid log, bro. DHB is underrated IMO. That dry look it gives is next level. Curious how you're managing injection volume with both Test and DHB — you using MCT carrier or GSO?
