Hello Everyone,

I’m starting a new cycle log and I’m excited to share my journey with you all. This log will focus on recomping and cutting, and I’ll be tracking my progress, training, diet, and PEDs throughout the cycle. I hope you follow along, and I look forward to learning from all of your experiences as well.

Current Stats:
- Weight: 114kg (251 lbs)
- Height: 180cm (5'11")
- Age: 43 years old

Diet and Macros:
My current Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) is approximately 3600 calories. To achieve a slight deficit and facilitate fat loss while preserving muscle, I will be consuming around 3100 calories daily. My macronutrient breakdown is as follows:
- Protein: 50% (350g)
- Carbs: 20% (150g)
- Fats: 30% (100g)

Current PEDs (Performance Enhancing Drugs):
- Testosterone Enanthate: 250mg every 3.5 days
- Nandrolone Phenylpropionate (NPP): 100mg every other day
- Masteron Enanthate: 250mg every 3.5 days
- HGH (Human Growth Hormone): 2 IU daily, morning fasted (Monday to Friday)
- Anavar: 20 to 40mg PWO (Post-Workout) on training days

Ancillaries and Supplements:
- Telmisartan: 40mg daily (for blood pressure)
- Triple Magnesium: Daily
- TUDCA: 250mg (for liver support)
- N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC): 1200mg (for liver health)
- Multivitamin: Daily
- Fish oil: Daily
- Cialis: 5mg daily (for blood flow and sexual health)
- Low-dose aspirin: 5mg daily
- Taurine: 1000mg daily (for muscle cramps)
- Berberine: 1000mg (for insulin sensitivity)
- NMN: 250mg (for anti-aging and energy)

Cycle Plan:
- Test E: 250mg every 3.5 days
- NPP: 100mg every other day
- Masteron E: 250mg every 3.5 days
- HGH: 2 IU (Monday to Friday)
- Anavar: 20-40mg daily on training days
Training Plan:
I am currently training 4 days per week with the following split:
- Tuesday: Chest and Back
- Wednesday: Full body
- Thursday: Shoulders and Legs
- Sunday: Arms
I aim for a fifth day focusing on cardio and recovery.
I train with a former competitive bodybuilder PT on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I have the advantage of expert training guidance, and he’s also aware of my PED usage.

Updates and Tracking:
- Weight: Weekly check-ins
- Blood work: I will have blood tests done in about 2 weeks and then regularly throughout the cycle
- Body composition: I’ll be monitoring with a body scan and share results periodically
- Food and Training: I’ll keep the log updated with training details, food intake, and how I’m feeling overall.

I’m looking forward to this journey and the changes I expect to see over the course of the cycle. My goal is to get leaner while maintaining muscle mass and strength. I’ll be sharing the highs and lows of this cycle with you.

Following along! I like your approach to using multiple compounds, especially NPP and Mast. I’m curious—why do you prefer using NPP over Deca?

Looks like you're really dialed in with your cycle and supplements! I'm curious about the Anavar dosage you're running. You mentioned 20-40mg PWO—do you feel like 40mg is needed, or do you get good effects from 20mg?

Hey everyone,

Back with an update — currently in week 16 of my recomp/cut cycle, and things are steadily progressing. I've stayed consistent with training, diet, and supplementation, and now I'm seeing the results start to show in a big way.

🔹 Progress Since Start (Feb 24 – June 19):

  • Weight:
    • Starting: 114 kg (251 lbs)
    • Current: 105.2 kg (232 lbs)
    • Down 8.8 kg (~19.5 lbs), mostly fat — strength has held strong.
  • Body Composition:
    • According to my last InBody scan (last week):
      • Body fat % dropped from ~22% to ~14.5%
      • LBM (lean body mass) has barely changed, slight increase even in legs/traps.
  • Bloodwork (Week 14):
    • Liver values: Within normal range (TUDCA + NAC doing their job)
    • Lipids: HDL slightly low, LDL a bit elevated (common on Anavar), adjusted fish oil dosage
    • Hematocrit: Slightly elevated — started donating blood every 8 weeks
    • BP: Holding steady at 118/72 with Telmisartan
    • Fasting glucose and insulin sensitivity looking great — credit to berberine and HGH protocol

💉 PEDs: Minor Adjustments

  • Test E / Mast E: Still at 250mg every 3.5 days
  • NPP: Reduced from 100mg EOD to 75mg EOD in Week 12 to improve joint comfort (was getting too "dry" + some low-grade inflammation)
  • Anavar: Increased to 40mg daily on training days since Week 10 — no noticeable liver stress, but killer pumps
  • HGH: Still at 2 IU fasted, Mon–Fri. Might bump to 3 IU in the next phase depending on sleep/recovery
  • Cialis: Switched to 5mg EOD — consistent results but felt better slightly spaced

🍽️ Diet Adjustments

  • Dropped from 3100 to 2900 kcal/day around Week 10 to push the fat loss further.
  • Kept protein high (340–360g), carbs around 125g (mostly peri-workout), fats ~95g
  • Still following clean whole food approach — digestion and energy have been great
  • Added refeed meals on Sundays to help performance and fill out a bit (high carb, moderate fat, low protein)

🏋️‍♂️ Training Update

I’ve stayed with the same split but added a fifth day more consistently, doing:

  • 30 min incline treadmill
  • Mobility work
  • Light arms/calves or banded push-pull finishers
Working with my PT twice weekly has kept intensity high and form sharp. We recently started rest-pause work for lagging delts and arms, and it’s paying off — more detail and roundness already.

💤 Sleep & Recovery

Sleep is finally improving.

  • Started a nightly combo of Glycine (3g), L-Theanine (200mg), and Magnesium L-Threonate before bed — way better quality.
  • Wake-ups are still early (~4:30 AM), but I feel more rested and HRV is up.

📝 Goals for Final 4–6 Weeks

  • Push fat loss below 13% without losing size
  • Hold strength benchmarks on main lifts
  • Introduce posing sessions 1–2x a week (trying to build stage presence and symmetry even if I don’t compete)

Thanks again to everyone who’s been following the log and chiming in with feedback. I’ve learned a ton through this process, and having the community support keeps me dialed in.

Feel free to drop any questions or suggestions. Bloods will be redone in 2 weeks, and I’ll post a final 20-week summary at the end of the run.

Stay strong and stay sharp! 💪
