Looking Into Injectable Melatonin – Worth It?

Lately, I’ve been trying to dial in my sleep to support better recovery, but it’s been a mixed bag. I’ve used melatonin gummies before — sometimes they help me wind down, other times I’m still wide awake for hours, unable to fully settle.
I recently came across the idea of injectable melatonin and started wondering: could this be a more effective solution for improving sleep onset and staying asleep through the night? The idea of a more direct delivery method sounds promising, but I’d love to hear from anyone with first-hand experience.
Have you tried it? Did it make a noticeable difference compared to oral options?

I’ve tried injectable melatonin during a cutting phase when sleep was all over the place. It definitely hit faster and felt cleaner than oral. Downsides? Harder to source and a bit overkill unless your sleep is seriously messed up.

Honestly, if gummies aren’t working, I’d look at cortisol levels or evening screen time before jumping to injections. Sleep hygiene > exotic fixes most of the time.
